Charter Rates

The charter rates below include full catering, crew, fuel and use of the jet skis, JetRIB and other accessories that may be onboard from time to time but excludes crew gratuity. Pilotage charges, however, will be added to the charter fee. Typically this will be between 1 and 2% of the charter fee unless special pick-up/drop-off/destination locations have been selected, in which case the charges may be higher.

Discounts:
A booking confirmation (deposit paid) made in a previous season may be eligible for a discount on the rate card price.

VAT
Seafin's charter fees are zero rated for VAT when she is chartered on a sailing or passenger transportation basis. VAT is applicable on items or services not included in a packaged price and which are invoiced separately. VAT is applicable when Seafin is hired on a non-sailing basis.
Guests Numbers
The Marine & Coastguard Agency have certified Seafin as a Class 6 passenger vessel able to carry a maximum of 30 guests and 10 crew.
Crew, Moorings and Fuel Costs
In normal circumstances Seafin carries a complement of 5 crew. All normal operating costs are included in the charter fee.
However if you want your own jazz band or musical accompaniment then you will have to pay extra for their sweet music. They do count as crew however.
Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% of the agreed daily rate is required on booking. The charter fee must be settled one month prior to the charter date. Catering charges must be settled within 15 days of receipt of invoice.
A booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been received.
Under no circumstances will Seafin sail on an unpaid charter.
Charters paid for for a given season but not taken by the season end will not be deferred to a following or subsequent season and the charter fee or deposit will be forfeited unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
Cancellations
Telephone Triangle Marine immediately if a cancellation is necessary. This must be followed as soon as possible with a notification in writing. If you cancel your booking, you are still liable for the payment of your balance. We will endeavour to re-hire your booked day(s). If we are able to do so before your balance is due, you will only lose your booking deposit. If we are able to re-hire after you have paid your balance, then we will refund the whole or part of that money (so that you only lose your booking deposit) up to a maximum of the hire charges we receive in re-hiring.
Note: No refunds will apply where special arrangements, individual discounts or non-standard payment methods have been agreed.
Tipping
Tipping is permitted and encouraged by the management. The crew
work exceptionally hard to ensure Seafin is up to the charterer's expectations.
As a guide, we suggest a £100 tip for each charter day. This should be given to
the 1st mate who will distribute it equally amongst the crew.
Broker's and Agent's Fees
Triangle Marine Limited pays agents and/or brokers a 15% introduction fee based on the charter fee received for each and every charter introduced. This fee is charged in addition except where otherwise agreed.

Accommodation
Seafin sleeps 7 people in one double, one twin and three singles. It may be possible, by separate negotiation, to allocate accommodation to a charterer in some circumstances.
Operating Terms
Seafin's skipper has overall responsibility for the safety of the guests, crew and vessel at all times. Sailing arrangements may be altered at his discretion, for safety or any other reason.
Mandatory
Guests wanting to use the jet skis or jet RIB must sign the appropriate disclaimer documentation that will be provided onboard by the crew. This is a strict requirement and cannot be waived. The operation of these boats is under the control of the James Keen, Seafin's 1st mate and operations manager.
Important
Guests who cannot swim or who are not strong swimmers should make this known to the 1st mate or skipper prior to sailing. These guests are advised to wear a personal buoyancy aid, which will be provided, during times at sea.

Children
Parents or responsible adults must supervise small children at all times. Vessels can be hazardous places. The crew will not take responsibility for child minding. The crew may insist that a child or children wear personal buoyancy aids, which will be provided.

Towels, Wetsuits and Footwear
Towels and wetsuits are not provided for charterers and we recommend that each guest bring what is appropriate if they are intending to Jet Ski or swim. All guests must wear soft deck shoes when onboard.

Animals
Only dogs are allowed onboard and for safety reasons we limit the number to two. There are a number of special canine buoyancy aids available onboard. Please advise in advance whether a dog is to be onboard and what size of buoyancy aid is required.
